Joseph Parr Racing
Joseph took over the training licence from his grandfather Alan Bailey in February 2020.
Joseph Parr Racing is of course about winning, but equally important is the care and management of the horses and his team. Joseph had a real passion for horse racing from an early age. Joseph adopts a modern approach to training, and has a great relationship with his owners sending regular updates on their horses, along with photos and videos of the horses at work and their daily routines on the yard.
Joseph is very passionate about all aspects of training routines, giving specialist individual treatment and attention to every horse at Frankland Lodge. We have a small experienced team of staff who all share our love for horses, their care and management. Each horse is treated as an individual and the attention to detail is of paramount importance.
We also have paddocks for turnout giving the horses the opportunity to relax and unwind outside of the stable.
Yard & Gallops
Joseph Parr Racing is located on the Hamilton Road at Frankland Lodge Stables. Based on the racecourse side of Newmarket the yard compromises of large brick stables, a horse walker, lunge pit and nursery turnout paddocks. Joseph also rents a 9 acre paddock close to the yard, so the horses can relax, he believes this helps the horses mentally.
