Yard
Joseph Parr Racing is based on the Hamilton Road at Frankland Lodge Stables. Based on the racecourse side of Newmarket the yard compromises of large brick stables, a horse walker, lunge pit and nursery turnout paddocks. Joseph also rents a 9 acre paddock close to the yard, so the horses can relax, he believes this helps the horses mentally.
Gallops
Racecourse side offers an array of training options, most commonly used for Josephs string are; Hamilton Hill, The Round Canter and the Rubbing house canter, commonly known as the Farm canter and Southfields grass. Cambridge Road Gallop and The Watered Gallop are Josephs preferred gallops to work horses on.
Joseph Parr Racing is in close proximity to the Links schooling facilities and sometimes the string will head over to Bury side to use Long Hill and Warren Hill to add some variety to their work.
